Veteran-Directed Care Workers Needed

SCROLL

Become a Paid Veteran-Directed Care Worker to a Veteran.

Veteran-Directed Care Workers (personal care assistants) are needed to assist Veterans with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, fixing meals, shopping, managing chores, and doing laundry.

In this program, Veteran personal care assistant candidates will be interviewed and hired directly by the Veteran and must pass an Ohio background check or a federal background check (if you have lived outside of Ohio in the past five years).

If you are interested in this meaningful way to give back to a Veteran and our country, please complete the form. A team member from the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA) will contact you regarding the next steps.

The Veterans-Directed Care program is a career opportunity and a chance to contribute positively to the lives of those who have served their nation. It offers a unique blend of personal satisfaction, professional development, and community involvement.
